On the 25th of November, the 5A, 5B, and 5C classes visited the theatre Studio Molière in the 9th district.

With Christmas just around the corner, it was the perfect opportunity to watch the play A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and get into a festive mood. It was also a great chance for us to improve our English skills and expand our vocabulary.

In A Christmas Carol, the story follows an old and cold-hearted man named Ebenezer Scrooge. One Christmas Eve, he is visited by three ghosts from different points in time. Each of them shows him a meaningful Christmas experience: the first ghost takes him back to his childhood, the second ghost shows him the present and how people around him are struggling, and the third ghost gives him a glimpse of the future and warns him that he must change before it is too late.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable and engaging play to watch. Not only did it help us develop our English, but it also reminded us of the importance of social responsibility, empathy, generosity, and charity.
